Good food but service too slow
After a morning running around a local farm a good substantial lunch was in order. A quick drive around the metropolis of Lancefield showed The Aspy to be a likely candidate. And so it turned out to be, for a nice relaxing, very late lunch. There was a small but diverse menu and the pie I chose had obviously been freshly baked in-house. It was a vegan asparagus and mushroom pie, accompanied by fresh salad, and was delicious:) My friend's pie was so delicious he got a second! Service was speedy and friendly. So if you are in Lancefield or just passing through I would recommend a stop here:).
Nice outside area at the back. I only had a cold drink, but the others in my group had a selection of slices which were yummy and an impressive looking Aspy Burger. Would definitely head back if I was in the area
